For that perfect dish to taste even better you need a tasty side kick.These side kicks aka sauces/dips make the accompanying dishes star of the meal.They add their own flavour and add a zing to the dish.
More over these are easy to make and you can make the spot.You can adjust the taste accordingly, like make them more tangy or more spicy.Here’s my homemade Honey Chilly Tomato Dip and it makes the meal more yummier!!
Honey – 2tbsp
Red chilly sauce – 1/2 tbsp
Tomato Ketchup – 2 tbsp
Chilly vinegar – 2 tbsp
Roast Garlic – 2(pounded)
Coriander – few sprigs (chopped)
Onion – 1 small chopped(optional)
Red chilly flakes- 1 tsp
Take a mixing bowl and crush the roasted garlic along with chopped onions.
Now add the chopped coriander and red chilly flakes.
Now add the honey,red chilly sauce.tomato ketchup and chilly vinegar and stir thoroughly.
Now taste and adjust the dip accordingly.
Serve with your favourite starters.
You can adjust the spicyness by adding or reducing the chilly flakes and red chilly sauce.
Similarly if you like it a bit more sweet , add 1/2 tbsp of honey.
You can always adjust this according to taste.
You can omit onions if you don’t like it.
